Take the Virtual Tour! - MILLS-NORRIE STATE PARK Mills-Norrie State Park, is made up of two parks: Margaret Lewis Norrie and Ogden & Ruth Livingston Mills State Parks, bounded on the west by the Hudson River. Picnic on the bluffs overlooking the Hudson or play golf on the two nine-hole golf courses, whose grounds are open for cross-country skiers in winter. A bridle path, hiking, biking and snowmobiling trails are available, as well as a sledding hill on the lawn of the Mills estate, make this park a popular destination year-round. |

Take I-87 to the Kingston exit. Take Route 199 East to Route 9G South. Follow Route 9 South through Rhinebeck and Staatsburg. The park is five miles north of Hyde Park. Check-in for camping and cabins is located at 85 Campground Hill, Staatsburg, NY. Look for the sign on Old Post Rd. showing the entrance for Margaret Lewis Norrie State Park. Looking for a Campground Host at Mills Norrie! This program offers seasoned campers an opportunity to share their expertise and love of the outdoors with other people at campgrounds. In return, these volunteers receive a free camping site during their stay (site offers electric and water hook-up). For more information, please contact the park directly. To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Dogs are allowed on campsites. 2 pets per site only. All dogs require proof of current shots. (Rabies Certificate) Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Firearms and other weapons are prohibited. There are NO electric sites in this campground. Water spigots are located throughout the campground, but not on individual sites. There is a central comfort station with showers and toilets in the campground for both cabins and campsites. Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites. CABINS Cabins contains four sleeping bunks, but two additional can sleep on the floor if necessary. You must be at least 18 years old to reserve a site or cabin. There are no bathrooms in the cabins. As of April 1, 2012 - smoking is not permitted in the cabins. Cabins have a 2-night minimum stay all year. Cabin 1 is the only cabin that permits pets. 2 pet limit. Rabies certificate is required. IMPORTANT: New York State Parks encourages everyone to be safe outdoors.
